The top deck is a via-duct. The longest span�s viaduct weighed 400T. The pre-cast and post stressed via duct is supported at two ends, lifted by cluster of hyd jacks, hung and traversed to position over launching girder. On reaching the position, via ducts were lowered at safe controlled speed by hyd jacks to the right position over the bearing mounted on erected pier.

Hightorque supplied hyd jacks and power packs. Jacks were provided with built in load holding valve. Pumping unit fitted with speed control valve/s. All performed satisfactorily and recorded ZERO break down till completion of the project. Traversing and lowering operations were carried out keeping pedestrian and vehicle movement alive.
